Our Story
How We Got Here.
Apex started with a small group of students and a conviction that martial arts deserved a properly built academy, not a community-hall hire on a Tuesday night.
More than fifteen years of coaching later, we’re Worcestershire’s largest dedicated martial arts academy. More than 300 members across nine programmes, from a four-year-old in their first Cubz class to a sixty-year-old returning to the mat after thirty years away.
There’s a class running almost every evening, and the coaches still know every member by name.

We didn’t rent a corner of a leisure centre. Apex is a purpose-built academy: two 1,500 sq ft training areas with professional-grade matting, professional pads and bags, and dedicated changing areas.
